The Tanja Lagoon Camp setting is a wonderful place for children to explore the natural world. Our kids (Amber and Jasper) are thriving in this environment.

Therefore it is our goal to welcome families without detracting from the quiet nature immersion experience of others.

The “Family Tent” – Buru, is separate from the other tents and the layout inside allows for up to 3 bush swags to be rolled out on the floor. We set them up with the same luxury bedding as the adults which Amber describes as sleeping in a cloud. They are authentic bush swags so they can be rolled out on the deck or even out under the stars. ($25 extra per child per night)

During the NSW School Holidays families with up to 2 children can also stay in the Spoonbill tent – by negotiation only. Please contact us if you would like to explore this option.

If you are planning a holiday with other families and wish to book multiple tents with children we can be more flexible so please give us a call to discuss available options.

Infants (under 2) – by negotiation only. No extra cost.

There are dams on the property and the tents are situated close to the lagoon therefore children under 12 years old are required to be supervised by an adult at all times.

We also ask that visitors with children do their best to consider other guests.
